2022 MAMA Awards: What to expect

A much-anticipated two-days music awards event all about K-pop, MAMA Awards, is finally here. With one of the most exciting events of the year approaching, we highlight what to expect

Ever since its establishment in 1999, the MAMA Awards, formerly MNet Asian Music Awards, has been acknowledged as one of the major music awards ceremonies in South Korea. From best male artist and dance performance awards to worldwide icon of the year and artist of the year awards, it celebrates Korean artists and stars from across Asian.

2022 MAMA Awards

This year, unlike previous years, the MAMA Awards will be held as a two-day event. On 29 and 30 November in Tokyo, this year’s awards will be delivered by two impressive presenters, Jeon Somi and Park Bo-gum. Apart from these two, some other celebrities will be there presenting awards. From celebrated actress Kim So-hyun and Moon Ga Young to former Wanna One member Hwang Minhyun, many stars will light up the event.

Who can we expect to see?
