You can now order 24 Karat gold chicken wings

New England’s elevated sport bar and lounge chain The Ainsworth has teamed up with Kim Kardashian’s bestie Jonathan Cheban (@foodgod) to bring to its menu a new luxurious item: chicken wings slathered in edible gold. 

The 24 Karat Wings, the name given to the exclusive dish, are marinated in chipotle, coconut butter and honey for 24 hours before being fried and dusted with gold flakes. They can be ordered in portions of 10 for USD$30, 20 for USD60 and 50 with a bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne for USD$1000.

Will many people turn up – and even queue – to take pictures and videos of these super Instagrammable chicken wings? Given the popularity of Cheban’s account and the appeal of the dish, we’re assuming so.
