5 Fall/Winter 2020 fashion collabs to look out for

Things are getting exciting in the digital fashion world, with the recent Nike x Dior collab and Yeezy’s 10-year tie-up with GAP. Here’s a list of five upcoming fashion collaborations to put on your radar for the rest of 2020.
Prada x Sotheby’s

Prada has collaborated with prestigious auction house Sotheby’s to market items from its fall/winter 2020 line, Tools of Memory. With a portion of sales heading to UNESCO, the global non-profit that’s expanding inclusion in education for vulnerable populations around the world, the auction will include many fashion items, photographic prints, show invitations and other pieces straight from Prada’s runway show in February during Milan Fashion Week (check out our recap here). The bidding will open on October 2 at 9pm HKT, with the full catalogue available for viewing in September. Learn more about the project here.

The recent winner of the Andam Family Fund Award, Parisian brand Y/Project has a knack for post-modernist dressing, as seen in its AW20 collection during Paris Fashion Week. Canada Goose and the Parisian brand collaborate on pieces featuring the signature uneven silhouettes, with a six-piece capsule collection launching at the end of October, which will be available on stockists including Ssense.

Sneakerheads, brace yourselves for the highly anticipated Nike x Sacai collab coming through. They’ll be dropping another sneaker collaboration this autumn with a brand-new model: the Vaporwaffle, which will feature four different colourways.

Following last year’s collab, Swatch has unveiled a new series made with the Japanese high-end streetwear brand Bape with three brand-new designs. All feature a silicone strap with a multicoloured print that evokes the different cultures and personalities of the world. The packaging is decorated with the classic camouflage print design that’s a characteristic of Bape, with the iconic emblem wrapped around the hardshell case. The watches are available in stores as of August 6.

ASSC’s FW20 collection features a surprise collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market and Undefeated. In the FW20 drop, the collection ranges from playful T-shirts and accessories to statement collectibles such as ice trays, calculators and incense. Shop both collaborations, which have now launched on Anti Social Social Club’s website.
