The annual amfAR gala in Hong Kong raised more than US$4 million to fund AIDS research. The event, chaired by Pansy Ho, also honoured Victoria Beckham for her commitment to the fight against AIDS. Guests at the event bid on exclusive items at a live auction, and were treated to spectacular live performances from Chinese pianist Lang Lang, Elle King and Aloe Blacc, who performed some of their biggest Grammy-nominated hits.
