Bearbrick World Wide Tour 3 hits Hong Kong

Fans of the Bearbrick are in for a treat as the Bearbrick World Wide Tour 3 reaches Hong Kong shores this month

Forward Fashion joins hands with Medicom Toy, the company behind the collectible phenomenon, to bring the much-loved exhibition Bearbrick World Wide Tour 3 to Hong Kong audiences. This marks the exhibition’s first international stop after its debut in Shibuya, Tokyo, in 2021.

Art meets toy in the Bearbrick (stylised as BE@RBRICK), an anthropomorphic toy bear whose tubby body plays host to a variety of designs from Disney and Royal Selangor to Utagawa Kuniyoshi and Pokémon. It started as as a free gift to visitors of the World Character Convention 12 in Tokyo on 27 May, 2001. Since then, the toy has exploded in popularity to become a collectible industry of its own.

Held at Artelli, a premium art space in the central area of Hong Kong, the exhibition showcases exclusive Bearbrick 1000 percent exhibition pieces designed by 100 internationally renowned creators.

The exhibition’s standard ticket (HKD 120, HKD 80 for concessions) includes admission, while the premium ticket (HKD 1,080) offers VIP access to exclusive opening dates along with a guided tour, priority purchase of Bearbrick merchandise and an exquisite VIP gift set consisting of Hong Kong exclusive edition Bearbrick World Wide Tour 3 signed by Tatsuhiko “Ryu” Akashi, and more.
