The Belmond Andean Explorer Takes Seeing Peru to New Heights

The Belmond Andean Explorer is a sleeper train that will take its passengers in luxurious comfort on a two-night journey across the vast plains of Peru, 4,800 metres above sea level. The train will make stops at the city of Arequipa, a World Heritage Site; on the shores of Lake Titicaca, with its floating islands; and by the spectacularly deep Colca Canyon. Meals prepared with fresh ingredients grown locally will be served on board. The train’s open observation deck will allow the passengers to enjoy, with drink in hand, the dramatic expanse of the Peruvian highlands rolling past before their eyes.
