Big Collection of Modern Works Show in Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Copenhagen

Almost 100 modern art works traversing painting, photography, sculpture and installation are on display at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Copenhagen. Illumination is an encounter with artists such as Andreas Gursky, Franz West, Cindy Sherman, Alex Da Corte (pictured) and Tacita Dean. The exhibition is the fruit of a series of acquisitions – 162 works by 71 artists – through donations and purchases since 2012. Illumination will be the biggest presentation of new works from the collection in the museum’s 58-year history. The exhibition runs until September 11.
