#KBKSelects: Chanel Debuts Grecian-Inspired Cruise Line

Add another point to Karl Lagerfeld’s genius here. This collection was immediate in emotion, ease, and beauty, while being one of his most accessible. Summer conversations have a way of veering toward Grecian holidays, and here Chanel has entered our minds, intertwining with our summer plans and wardrobes (golden tan, not included). The Greek accents were not overly literal and they were interpreted with spirited modernity: knee high gladiator sandals in fun pop colours, asymmetrical shoulders, stacked gold CC jewellery, and gorgeous head jewellery pieces (#need). The tweed was represented in cool easy silhouettes, some even with frayed tweed hems— and it doesn’t get any cooler than that. #KBK
