Happy Wednesday returns with ‘The Greatest Show in Town’

Happy Wednesday is back this September with a lineup that is not to be missed. Best known for its exciting and fun-filled events every Wednesday nights, the Happy Valley Racecourse is opening its curtains with a palpitating show starter. Check out what is in store every Wednesday this September racing season

After a record-breaking season finale in July, this time around the Happy Valley Racecourse will see an exciting programme list themed “The Greatest Show in Town” – and if it sounds like the beginning of a Hugh Jackman musical performance with ringmasters and acrobats… you aren’t far off. (Minus the Hugh Jackman.)

Starting tomorrow, September 13, the racecourse grounds will become the stage of a vibrant carnival that celebrates the best on offer between East and West. Don’t miss the neon-themed Hip Hop-lion dance inviting good fortune and prosperity to the grounds and all its guests this opening season. In addition, the Happy Valley Racecourse family also have a lively night planned for you with heart-racing beats of the band Azucar Carnivale.

September 20 continues with a full set of live acts and performances by jugglers and acrobats against the backdrop of chart-topping hits by Happy Wednesday favourite and local band OnPoint.

Its finale and a Mid-Autumn festival special falls on September 27 which will see the Happy Valley Racecourse go all out with a Chinese fan dance and live music by Jordan Road.

Together with these Wednesday celebrations, the iconic Food Truck also returns with popcorn and slushies to help you stay fuelled and party the evenings away!

The Greatest Show in Town will run from September 13 to September 27, every Wednesday, at the Happy Valley Racecourse, Hong Kong.
