Inside Macallan’s Exclusive Masters of Photography Event

What: The Macallan Masters of Photography: Steven Klein Edition When: June 9, 2017 Where: Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre 

In celebration of their sixth Master of Photography collaboration, The Macallan invited guests in to the immersive world of provocative artist Steven Klein. This year’s unique theme was Time Captured, and showcased Klein’s interpretations of the dynamic temporal dimension in a completely immersive space, which incorporated models, actors, theatre, a touch of mystery and plenty of whisky. For the event, Klein imagined a world-standing still, and created it with a short film and ten individual images. His work was paired with a limited-edition Macallan whisky, of which only 1,000 bottles are available.  The Roca brothers of Spain’s famed El Celler de Can Roca, were on hand to enrich the night with their celebrated cuisine.
