Omega Debuts 60th Anniversary Limited Editions of Classic Trio
By#legendMarch 24, 2017
Baselworld 2017 began on Thursday, and Omega fans can’t stop talking about the watchmaker’s commemorative “Railmaster 60th Anniversary Limited Edition” set.
As the name suggests, the trilogy of watches — Speedmaster, Seamaster 300, and Railmaster— mark the 60th anniversary of their initial release in 1957. Each of the three house modern movements, while staying true to their history in terms of exteriors, with the Speedmaster retaining its original 38mm-case, now considered small by modern standards.
1957 was a good year for Omega, with the house also releasing a durable, yet stylish, diver and an anti-magnetic powerhouse.
The “Railmaster 60th Anniversary Limited Edition” set can be bought separately or as one collection.
