Ralph Lauren celebrates 50th anniversary in New York’s Central Park

This year marks Ralph Lauren’s 50th anniversary. Designers such as Alexander Wang, Tory Burch, Vera Wang, Jason Wu and Thom Browne and celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Kanye West, Nick Jonas, Blake Lively, Anne Hathaway, Edison Chen, Jessica Jung, Nana Ou’yang and more attended the large scale anniversary show at Bethesda Terrace, Central Park, New York. 

In order to celebrate Ralph Lauren’s 50th anniversary, they launched an anniversary collection which features womenswear, men’s double RL and childrenswear. The theme is to celebrate timeless heroines, freedom of expression, strength and individuality and modern sophistication. 

“For my 50th anniversary, I wanted to create and share a runway experience that was deeply personal and a summation of the style I’ve always believed in: personal, authentic, and forever, in a place so quintessentially New York and so special to me—Central Park,” said Mr. Lauren.
