What: Salvatore Ferragamo Tramezza Made-to-Order Programme Launch
When: October 6, 2016
Where: Salvatore Ferragamo store at the Mandarin Oriental
Italian luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo launched its season-exclusive Tramezza made-to-order (MTO) men’s footwear programme on October 6, in the presence of illustrious guests about town, including Awty Wong, Davis Chan, Lumen Kinoshita and Xuan Cheng Mu. Master cobbler Floriano Pratelli did a captivating live demonstration of the shoemaking process, which highlighted the high degree of artistry and detail that goes into each made-to-order pair.
The programme is currently offered for three quintessential shoe types—oxford, double monkstrap and monkstrap boot—through which patrons can select customisations for style, material, colour and buckle finish. Each pair can also be finished with lettering on the sole, making for a truly personal touch. The MTO programme may be activated both in stores and online using a configurator.
