Tissot: Capturing the rhythm of summer with Tissot Sand
There is something about summer that makes time feel different. Days stretch longer, routines relax, and even small rituals, from a swim in the sea to an ice cream under the sun, become part of the season’s charm. Tissot taps into that feeling with Tissot Sands, its latest cinematic summer campaign set against the easy rhythm of a sun-drenched beach
Narrated by a lifeguard who knows the beach and its regulars a little too well, the campaign unfolds with a playful sense of familiarity. Rather than traditionally presenting the watches, Tissot brings them to life through storytelling and character. Watching over the scene with gentle affection, the lifeguard wears the Tissot Seastar 1000 Quartz, whose turquoise dial catches the light and echoes the sea around her. From there, the story moves through a lively cast of beach regulars, each with their own routine, personality and Tissot timepiece to match.

For Hans, a basketball enthusiast who trains daily, the Tissot PRX becomes a fitting companion, with its sharp lines, integrated bracelet and sky-blue dial reflecting his confidence and persistence. For Heidi, a sand sculptor carefully shaping a Matterhorn in the sand, the deep blue Tissot Seastar 1000 Quartz speaks to a quieter, more meticulous kind of precision.

Solar energy also takes centre stage through the Tissot PRC 100 Solar. Reto, the ever-punctual Swiss ice-cream vendor known for his Swiss chocolate flavour, wears the model in a silver look with a dark-blue dial, while his daughter Verena keeps time with her sunbathing ritual in the bicolour version, turning every twelve minutes beneath the open sky.

For a bolder summer mood, diver Greta’s vivid orange Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional stands out as she emerges from the water with her latest seashell find. Described by Tissot as its most advanced interpretation of the diver’s watch, it brings a sense of adventure to the campaign. Completing the line-up is Kurt, a patient metal-detector user whose Tissot PR516 with contrasting details mirrors his quiet focus on the search itself.
Together, these characters turn the campaign into more than a seasonal showcase. The campaign captures summer as a collection of habits, gestures and moments, each shaped by rhythm and intention. For Tissot, the Swiss heritage watchmaker founded in 1853, it is a reminder that timekeeping is not only about precision, but also about the joy of spending time well.
