Michelin inspectors placed 67 establishments in the one-star category for their “high-quality cooking, worth a stop.” New additions include Macau’s Chef Tam’s Seasons and Sushi Kinetsu. From Hong Kong, we have Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic, Feuille, Racines, Mora and The Legacy House at Rosewood Hong Kong. The latter two are promoted entries.

The Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong’s Noi and The Londoner’s The Huaiyang Garden are the two new debutants in the two-star category, having ascended the ladder from a one star.

After 10 consecutive years, The Eight has dropped down the ranks to a two star, bringing the total count of restaurants “worth a special journey” to nine.

There are a total of five Michelin Green Stars this year, with ZS Hospitality’s Feuille by David Toutain, helmed by executive chef Joris Rousseau, being the only new entrant.

Three hospitality talents also received special individual awards, including the Young Chef Award, which went to head chef Choi Ming Fai of the newly promoted one- and green-star Mora; the Sommelier Award, awarded to Shinya Goshima from Godenya; and the Service Award, received by Lydia Yung from The Legacy House.
